Art Studio
Nestled at the rear of the client’s block alongside a small creek, this art studio was designed as a light-filled space for both creating and displaying artwork.
Natural light was a key part of the design, with large windows helping create the ideal environment for the studio and gallery of a prominent Upper Blue Mountains artist.
Blackbutt was used throughout the building for the posts, windows and cladding, complemented by a suspended concrete floor with a burnished finish.
The studio also includes a small bathroom and a loft space that can be used for storage or occasional guests.
A simple, functional building that makes the most of its beautiful setting and provides a unique space for creativity.
